Police involved in a road-safety operation stopped an Ashkelon resident's car for inspection, Monday evening on Highway 3 near the Be'er Tuvia intersection.
It became clear that the 36-year-old driver, An Arab resident of Hevron without permission to be outside the Palestinian Authority, was driving without having ever issued a driver's license. At this point he was detained for questioning and a police officer grounded the vehicle for 30 days. At the end of the interrogation the driver remained in detention and will be brought to court this morning.
