The Israel Police have arrested two women on suspicion of illegally using the Bituach Leumi National Insurance Institute databases.
The two were allegedly employed by an accountancy firm and used the permits granted by the institute to conduct the associated audits and financial reports, but at the same time carried out hundreds of tests on citizens for private purposes. The two were interrogated and released on bond under restrictive conditions. Their access to information systems was blocked.
