After many months of negotiations between the parties, with a Histadrut announcement of a labor dispute and the threat of downtime in the Cellcom group, the workers committee headed by Maya Yaniv and the company's management headed by Nir Stern signed a new collective agreement.
Sources in the Histadrut said the background to the dispute was a letter sent to employees by the company's CEO in January stating that he intended to immediately dismiss hundreds of employees due to the Group's financial condition.
