Following the security situation in the south of the country, the Chief Rabbi of Israel and President of the Great Beit Din Rabbi David Lau, calls upon all the people of Israel to strengthen and pray for the safety of the security forces and the people of Israel.
"'It is a time of trouble for Jacob'; we see the enemies of Israel are trying to harm innocent children, women, and adults out of no fault of their own. We, the Jews, believe, and each of us should bear mutual responsibility, read chapters of Psalms, and strengthen Torah study for peace for Israel."
