Chairman Yossi Dagan of the Samarian Regional Council has responded to the wounding of an Israeli in a stoning near the Samarian Palestinian Authority village of Huwwara in Samaria, saying "The Israeli government must come to its senses in order to restore deterrence. It is not possible that in the same area, onn the same road, within a few weeks that there would be an attack, stones and a knife."
Dagan also called for action against the PA, "which is the one who educates [and] instigates incitement in the media and has been sending most of the terrorist attacks in the State of Israel in recent years. We are not prepared for our residents to be abandoned."
