Rabbi Rafi Peretz, Chairman of the United Right bloc, was the sandak [godfather -ed.] at the ritual circumsion of grandson Carmel Yosef on Tuesday morning, hours ahead of his being sworn in as a Member of Knesset.
Carmel Yosef was named after Rabbi Peretz's father. Writing on Twitter, Peretz said, "My prayer is that Carmel Yosef will grow up to be a loyal son of our wonderful nation and express its unique chain of generations."
