Meretz Chairwoman Tamar Zandberg said, Monday evening, that she has demanded that the Education Ministry stop state funding for the premilitary academy in the Samarian Jewish community of Eli.
Responding to a report by News 13 on racism at the institution, Zandberg said, "The Eli premilitary academy should have been closed a long time ago, and what gave the chauvinism, homophobia and the hatred that goes out of the program to continue to go wild should not be surprised by the shocking statements that came out of it today."
