Israel's ambassador to India and Sri Lanka Ron Malka visited the island on Wednesday evening, according to the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation.
Malka met with President Maithripala Sirisena, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and the defense minister. The visit was publicized only after the ambassador returned to India. Malka wrote on Twitter, Thursday, "Signed the condolences book in the High Commission of Sri Lanka in New Delhi, mourning with Sri Lanka. We should all stand together against terrorism."
