Police in Colombo, Sri Lanka carried out a controlled explosion Wednesday of a vehicle which had aroused suspicion in the wake of a strike of deadly bombing attacks.
The vehicle, a motorscooter, had been parked next to the popular Savoy movie theater in the Sri Lankan capital city.
Police carried out a controlled explosion of the vehicle, but later reported that no explosives had been inside of the scooter.
