Member of Knesset Bezalel Smotrich, chairman of the National Union, said on Tuesday that there is no rift between him and Rabbi Rafi Peretz, chairman of the Jewish Home Party.

Interviewed by Radio 103, Smotrich said, "I spoke to him yesterday three times. He is an amazing person and a great partner. It's a pleasure to work with him. He's really not the kind of politician they're trying to make him out to be." Referring to Jewish Home's roots in the National Religious Party, Smotrich concluded, "Apparently, the veteran NRP dealmaker has a bit of difficulty with that."
