Palestinian Authority Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Maliki has told the Russian news agency Sputnik that PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas is ready to meet Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu without preconditions "as long as President Putin is the host, the one who will create the best conditions for a meeting to take place and for a meeting to be successful."
Maliki stressed that the Palestinians "reject any proposal to resolve the conflict that does not include recognition of the independence of a Palestinian state."
