Meretz Chair MK Tamar Zandberg filed a complaint with State Service Commissioner Prof. Daniel Hershkovitz against Israeli Ambassador to Brazil Yossi Shelly, who attacked her in an interview with Galei Tzahal.
"I want to file a complaint about the behavior of Ambassador Yossi Shelly, because he attributed me to hatred of Jews and inappropriate behavior, whereas my comments were directed solely towards the President of Brazil and his dubious relationship with the Prime Minister. The role of the Israeli ambassador is to represent the State and not to lash out at elected officials. In his behavior, he deviated from his position in a significant manner and deserves censure," Zandberg wrote.
