Following the instruction by Histadrut chairman Arnon Bar-David to set up a special committee to examine recent events in Israel Railways, Bar-David turned to retired judge Amnon Strashnov with a request to head the committee.
Judge Strashnov accepted the Histadrut head's request and agreed to head the committee, which will convene this week and submit its conclusions and recommendations to Histadrut Chairman Bar-David immediately after Passover.
