The police received a complaint over the weekend about a nursing caregiver suspected of abusing a 78-year-old woman at her home in Rishon Letzion.
The suspect, is a 28-year-old foreign worker from the Philippines. She was arrested for questioning.
The investigation raises suspicions that in a number of cases documented by a camera set up by the elderly woman's family, the nurse hit the elderly woman, causing her injuries.
The suspect's arrest was extended by the Magistrate's Court on Saturday night, and today she will be brought before the Magistrate's Court in Rishon Lezion for further discussion.
