A senior Likud official says his party will be willing to place the education portfolio in the hands of the Jewish home - the National Union - but only if Rabbi Rafi Peretz gets the post.
Kan reported that in such a situation, the Likud would offer the housing portfolio to MK Bezalel Smotrich.
