The Israel Electric Company reports that the all time record for electricity demand in April was set on Monday evening at 10,656 megawatts.
The previous peak was 9,330 megawatts on April 12, 2015. The peak demand for electricity at all times was broken on January 16, and stood at 13,058 megawatts.
