Prime Minister and Defense Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said, Thursday afternoon, "We have tightened the security ring around the [Gaza] Strip, and I have instructed forces to be increased, to add equipment and be prepared for a broad campaign."
Speaking after a first-hand look at the Gaza border area, Netanyahu added, "All the citizens of Israel must know that if we needed a broad campaign, we will enter into it strong and confident, after exhausting all the other possibilities."
