According to the Eshkol Regional Council, about a quarter of the students in the regional council did not attend school this morning.
"In the wake of last night's incident, when a few minutes after the IDF announced a return to routine in the Gaza vicinity, a missile was fired at Eshkol, many parents expressed concern and chose not to send the children to school," the source said.
