MK Motti Yogev, a member of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, on Monday night rejected the idea of a ceasefire with Hamas in Gaza at this stage.
"Demolishing homes of terrorists is good, but in the Gaza Strip it is not enough, we must strike the heads of the terrorist organizations. A ceasefire signed with the terrorist organizations having the last word violates the obligation of the State of Israel towards its citizens. Deterrence will be restored only when we exact a price from the heads of the terrorist groups,” he said.
