Journalist Sefi Ovadia of Channel 13 Television has challenged part of Blue and White Chairman Benny Gantz's explanation of recordings, revealed Monday evening, that said he would not rule out sitting in a government with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.
Gantz said, Tuesday morning, that "The statements in the recording were made before the full details of the indictments against Netanyahu were revealed." Ovadia countered, "Gantz's remarks on the recording were made after the news conference that he held on the evening of the publication of the letter of suspicion against Netanyahu on February 28th. In the recording, one can even hear the Blue and White chairman qualifying his statement that he would not sit with Netanyahu."
