A US administration official said in a conversation with Arutz 7 that the US State Department had removed the term "occupied territories" from its annual Human Rights Report, referring both to the Golan Heights and the West Bank.
"Our policy regarding the Golan Heights has not changed," the official said. "We have used a different title in the Human Rights Report to refer to the familiar geographic terms of the area where the report was written."
