The Authorizing Authority in the Ministry of Defense has decided to recognize an Israeli citizen who was raped in Holland by a Palestinian attacker in 2003 as a victim of hostility.
The authority determined that there are reasonable grounds to assume that the victim was attacked on a nationalistic background. The decision will enable the Victims of Hostilities Division of the Bituach Leumi National Insurance Institute to grant her the full rights and assistance granted to victims of hostile acts.
