Chairmen Aryeh Deri and Yaakov Litzman of the haredi-religious Shas and United Torah Judaism parties made it clear on Thursday "We continue with all our strength with the firm support of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and not Benny Gantz."
Following a lengthy meeting at Deri's office, they said, "We will enter as a single bloc and in a common unity only for a coalition that Netanyahu will form and be strong on his side, we will not conduct any negotiations and talk to form a coalition that will include Yair Lapid in any situation." They also agreed on cooperation in the current election campaign, in which they would work as decently as possible and help one another to succeed in the campaign and thereby increase haredi representation in the next Knesset.
