The Israel Police said, Thursday that the investigation has ended on allegations that Member of Knesset David Bitan, Deputy Mayor Arnon Giladi of Tel Aviv and former Rishon Letzion mayor Dov Tzur received favors from private entities, and in exchange they acted to advance the interests of those entities.between the years 2011 and 2011, when Bitan was deputy mayor of Rishon Letzion.
At the conclusion of the investigation, a sufficient evidentiary basis was established to establish suspicions against dozens of people involved, including MK Bitan (12 cases), Giladi and Tzur and parties in the development field on charges of receiving things by fraud, fraud and breach of trust and tax offenses. The file will be transferred as soon as possible to the State Prosecutor's Office for Taxation and Economics for review and examination.
