Bank Hapoalim expects the total amount it will have to pay the authorities in the United States a fine of 2.29 billion shekels (about $633 million) for allegedly helping tax evasion of Israeli customers in the US, according to Channel 13 Television.
It appears that the Bank's 2018 financial statements will include a provision of NIS 922 million, which will significantly reduce its profits.
