The electronic defense systems (cameras, motion sensors and peripheral fence) at the Shaar Menashe psychiatric hospital near Hadera - have not been working properly for at least two weeks, according to Israel Defense Forces Radio.
Although security officials are aware of the situation, dangerous detainees continue to be hospitalized when there is no defense system to prevent them from escaping.
