Maj.-Gen. (Res.) Dr. Yom Tov Samia announced today the resignation of the B'yahad party headed by him from the upcoming Knesset elections.
Samia explained that "B'yahad, through supporters and activists from the social, economic and management fields, has made an effort in the last two months to bring about connections with existing parties and new movements and to create significant political power in the upcoming elections to bring about the hoped-for change. Unfortunately, the attempts to connect did not succeed despite the openness that we showed in all contacts."
