Over the weekend during enforcement by traffic police and Border Policemen on Route 60, police noticed a vehicle coming from the direction of Route 465 towards the British Police Junction bypassing traffic that had accumulated at the place.
The police ordered the driver to stop at the side of the road. He did not obey and began to flee, crossing a double separation line and endangering the public.
The driver continued his reckless driving, and near Sinjil Junction he hit an Israeli vehicle, causing damage and no injuries. After a foot chase police arrested the suspect and he was interrogated on suspicion of endangering life in a traffic lane. At the end of his interrogation he was imprisoned and the vehicle impounded.
