The water level of Lake Kinneret/the Sea of Galilee rose this morning above the lower red line for water quality and stands at 213 meters below sea level.
Since yesterday, the water level has risen by a centimeter and since the beginning of winter there has been an increase of more than 1.5 meters. The water level would have to rise 4.2 meters for the lake to be full. Rain is expected to start falling in the north this afternoon and continue into the weekend with at least two days of snow on Mount Hermon.
