Eyal Rosovsky, the lawyer of Rabbi Benny Lau, sent a letter to Attorney Itamar Ben-Gvir on Monday evening rejecting the Otzma Yehudit Party candidate's demand for compensation and an apology for the rabbi's remarks regarding the party.
In the letter, made it clear that this is not slander, and that Rabbi Lau's remarks in a Sabbath sermon constitute a legitimate expression of opinion.
