Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz told Channel 13 News on Sunday that he did not try to speak with Acting Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz after his controversial remarks on Poland and the Holocaust.

In response to the question "Is Katz a persona non grata in Poland?" the Polish minister replied that "in the current situation, I do not believe he will come to Poland." However, he expressed hope that relations with Israel would warm up after the elections, adding that "our aspiration is to establish good relations with Israel."
