Opposition leader Shelly Yechimovich says the Labor Party should consider running together with the Meretz party in the upcoming Knesset election.
With time running out before the submission of the candidate lists, Yechimovich said, "In light of the new political situation that has been created, the possibility of creating a joint bloc with Meretz must be examined thoroughly and quickly. An automatic refusal to do so would register a disgrace for us if the new situation would, heaven forbid, bring about the erasure of Meretz and the collapse of Labor."
