Following the consolidation of Benny Gantz's Israel Resilience Party with the Yesh Atid of Yair Lapid, activist attorney Eldad Yaniv has announced that his Eretz Hadasha (New Land) party will not run in the Knesset elections.

Yaniv, who has fought for prosecution of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on corruption allegations, said, "The Eretz Hadasha Party, my friends and I, activists who are committed to the idea: We will not run for the Knesset when a real opportunity is created to end Netanyahu's corrupt and inciting regime, against which we fought for two consecutive years in the streets. Now it's your time has come to defeat him at the ballot box."
