The Department for the Investigation of Police in the State Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment against a policeman from the central region for assaulting his spouse, threatening her life, drunk driving, and other offenses.
According to the indictment, the defendant had access to a police pistol that he carried during work hours and verbally abused his partner, including shouting and cursing. His actions were often committed after he consumed alcoholic beverages and was inebriated.
On several occasions during outbursts, the defendant also cursed his children. In addition, the defendant threatened the complainant that he would harm her, and in one case even attacked her and caused her injuries.
