Minister Aryeh Deri (Shas) expressed his satisfaction Friday with the decision by Judge Hanan Meltzer not to allow the Labor Party to operate free bus service on Shabbat.
"I applaud the decision," said Deri. He addressed Labor head Avi Gabbai and said: "Mr. Gabbai, please think again about the sanctity of the Sabbath and respect for the tradition that you grew up with in your father's house. Don't turn the Sabbath into a cheap means for propaganda."
