Itamar Ben-Gvir chairman of the Otzma Yehudit party responded to Rabbi Yaakov Medan who said he would only support a united right-wing block of Itamar would take down the picture of Baruch Goldstein in his house.

"It is amazing that Rabbi Medan, who is known for his pluralism and his approach to tolerating various publics, such as Sabbath desecrators, eaters of non-kosher and even gays, enters the living room of the Ben-Gvir family and asks us to take down one picture or another," Ben-Gvir said.

"The picture of Dr. Goldstein is in my house, since Dr. Goldstein saved dozens of Jews from Kiryat Arba and Hebron, and the doctor jumped from one attack to another and saved many lives."
