Police operating in the contested Jewish and Arab neighborhood of Shiloach (Silwan in Arabic), south of Jerusalem's Old City, were surprised Thursday morning to discover a girl about two years of age, alone near the police station.
The mother of the child was found after two hours of searching. She told the police that she had not noticed her daughter leaving the house.
