Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Kulanu Party Moshe Kahlon has appointed former director-general of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, Yisrael Danziger, to head a team to build a national plan to reduce pollution and environmental risks and develop Haifa Bay.
Danziger will formulate a master plan that the party will adopt and implement for the continuation of the revolution in Haifa Bay. The proposal is based on creating a continuum of connecting the city to the water line, increasing supervision and enforcement, encouraging quality and innovative employment, encouraging leisure and tourism employment, commercial and residential construction, building a healthy and clean port for the environment and examining the relocation of factories while preserving workplaces in the medium and long ranges.
