During an ambush by an Israel Defense Forces unit on Wednesday evening near the western Samarian Palestinian Authority village of Deir Abu Mash'al, the force identified a number of suspects who approached the Route 465 and tried to place an improvised explosive device nearby.
The force responded with fire and the terrorists fled from the spot. There were no casualties and no damage was done.
