Mayor of Ariel, Eli Shviro responds to the decision to set up a university medical faculty in the city.
"This is a message at the national level, not involving politics with academia, and the right decision, in face of distress of the medical system in Israel, allowing thousands of students to learn how to save lives."
"I congratulate the Council for Higher Education in Judea and Samaria, which transcended foreign political considerations, the same uninteresting considerations that tried to sabotage the process and prevent the establishment of the Faculty of Medicine in Ariel," Shviro said.
