Police arrested a suspect in a robbery case from two months ago, when burglars broke into an apartment on Kedem Street in Jaffa.
After they finished robbing the house the thieves burned down the house before fleeing. The family dog who was trapped inside the burning apartment died of smoke inhalation.
On Wednesday morning, the court accepted the police's request and extended the suspect's detention until Sunday.
