It was announced that the Shin Bet security service recently uncovered attempts by a secret Hamas unit in the Gaza Strip to recruit a number of residents of Judea and Samaria and a resident of East Jerusalem with a blue Israeli identity card to carry out terrorist attacks against Israel, while using the Al-Aqsa satellite channel to transmit secret messages to Judea and Samaria.
In the course of the investigation, a number of operatives were arrested in the Judea and Samaria area, who revealed during their interrogations the method by which they were recruited and operated by Hamas from the Gaza Strip.
