Last week, the traffic department gave more than 6,000 traffic tickets to drivers on Israel's roads.
About 1,700 drivers who used a mobile phone while driving were caught. A total of 380 traffic violations were recorded against truck drivers for violations of safety. The driving license of 25 drivers was canceled for 30 days due to severe traffic violations, 43 vehicles were suspended for 30 days and towed to the Israel Police storage area.
