Police have arrested a 33-year-old Palestinian Authority resident on suspicion of committing a serious assault, robbery and car theft in 2013.
According to the suspicions, two suspects attacked a taxi driver when they reached their destination in the city of Yehud. They stabbed him with a sharp object, ordered him to get out of the car and fled in the cab, which was carrying mobile phones, a tablet computer, personal documents and a check for tens of thousands of shekels. The driver needed medical attention.
