Former chief of staff Gadi Eizenkot of the Israel Defense Forces has rejected remarks by Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah that were broadcast Saturday night.
Speaking at a conference of the Institute for National Security Studies, Eizenkot said, "One achievement cannot be disputed - we were used to hearing him once a week. Now he hasn't been heard in ten weeks. There is no basis for saying that there is [Hezbollah terror] tunneling that we have not found."
