Medical sources have pronounced the death of a woman who broke onto the tracks and was hit by a train near the botanical garden in Akko on Thursday afternoon.
The circumstances of the incident are now being examined by traffic inspectors and the Akko police. At the end of the examination, railway traffic will be resumed on the track north of the Akko station.
