A court has rejected the request of Eli Bar Zakai, to ease the conditions of his detention.
Bar Zakai is charged with causing death to pedestrian Eylon Shalev-Amsalem and injury to a friend of Shalev-Amsalem this summer. He was sent to total house arrest under 24 hours supervision, prohibition of contact with those involved, financial guarantees, issuance of an order prohibiting exit from Israel, and revocation of his driver's license.
