"A day of infamy in Israel. If only some of the rumors turn out to be correct, this is apparently the most serious case in the history of the Israeli legal system. A single gram of corruption mustn't taint the judicial system, and therefore every stone must be overturned investigating suspicions of violations of the integrity of the appointment of judges.
"Even this morning, more than ever, I stand by the judicial system and oppose the wild and aggressive attacks by Netanyahu and Shaked and the army that incites against the judicial system whose sole purpose is to dismantle the system and weaken it out of considerations of political survival and promotion of dangerous agendas. There's no democracy without a strong legal system and no state of law without an independent judiciary. Don't be be confused.
