A draft report published by the Registrar of Endowments in the Ministry of Justice points to serious failures in the conduct of the Keren Kayemet Leyisrael - Jewish National Fund and calls for the dismantling of the company, according to Channel 10 Television.
The draft contains serious findings about the way the fund is being conducted, as well as harsh criticism of Chairman Danny Atar, of his appointments and financial conduct, as well as of the sponsors' affairs. At the end of last week, the JNF filed an administrative petition with the court and asked for the information on which the draft report is based. It said in response: "The draft is a 'fake report' that ignores the truth. The recommendation to dismantle the JNF is delusional and bordering on madness."
