The Eshkol Regional Council held a large-scale security exercise on Sunday to examine how local professionals would deal with extreme emergency events through the use of a new technological system prepared to streamline the management of events.
Among the scenarios that were practiced were the infiltration of terrorists and direct hits with casualties in a number of communities simultaneously, including a fire in a factory, the blocking of the only road in the region, damage to a cowshed, a power outage in all the towns during missile strikes and the evacuation of communities under fire.
